We are pleased to announce another of our recent investments, the Robe RoboSpot. The addition of the RoboSpot system to our inventory was an easy choice. It perfectly complements our already wide range of Robe fixtures, including; BMFL Blade, MegaPointe, Spiider & 150 LEDBeam‘s. The system makes it easy to create followspot positions wherever they are needed within a lighting rig. However there is no longer a need to put operators into the rafters, they can operate with their feet firmly on the ground. We are excited to get our new systems out onto projects this Autumn / Winter.

Ahead of PLASA 2022, we are pleased to annouce one of our latest investments in new equipment with Astera. We now have both a number of Astera Titan Tube kits and AsteraBox CRMX Transmitters. Our Titan Tube kit’s come complete with all accessories as standard. In addition, we also stock the “wing plates” to allow for more creative rigging options or for single point mounting. Astera Titan cable kits are also available for hire, in 5m, 10m & 15m lengths.

Titan is the ultimate LED tube for filmmakers, TV studios and any creative person. It emits powerful, tunable white with ultra-high colour rendering. As well as RGBA+M colour mixing which can be applied to individual pixels or the whole tube. The tube offers unlimited range of usage; indoor or outdoor. We have continued our ongoing investment into both LED and energy effecient fixtures. Our latest investment includes the Prolight’s Lumipix IP15 LED Batten to our LED inventory. The Lumipix 15IP is a tour-ready LED pixel batten conceived to be fully versatile and perform outdoor. Delivering advanced brightness and colour mixing by offering individual pixel control of each cell. The robust die-cast aluminium structure with omega quick lock socket on the bracket. As part of our continued investment into both LED and energy effecient fixtures. We have recently added SGM’s P-6 RGBW LED Wash to our LED inventory here at Storm. The SGM P-6 is the standardized LED wash fixture in the lighting industry. Due to its IP66 rating, superior reliability. As well as a user-centered design. Following on from our recent investment in the Astra 1×1 6X Bi-Color panel from Litepanels, we have continued our investment by adding the Sola 6+ Daylight Fresnel to our rental inventory. The daylight-balanced Sola 6+ provides the controllability and light-shaping properties inherent in a Fresnel light. With the advantages of LED technology including DMX-controllability. The Sola 6+ draws a small fraction of the power of conventional Fresnel fixtures. As well as now being 50% brighter than the previous version. Like the rest of the Sola Series, it provides Litepanels’ famous full-spectrum quality light.
